This well can be used for “mini” PRK or LASEK. The smaller 6.5mm well is designed to remove 33-40% less epithelium compared to the typical 8.5 or 9mm wells, respectively. The instrument is designed for treatments of lower diopter powers of sphere and cylinder. Dr. MacRae recommends that the well should be centered over the pupil and requires gentle pressure to be applied. Overall length 81mm, 3.2 inches. Not available in Canada.
