During the “clean” portion of the procedure, the bubble level of this instrument is positioned below the cornea while the exterior of the ring is aligned to the limbus. The marker is pressed against the corneal surface to provide marks at the horizontal axis and at 90°. Overall length: 99mm, 3.9 inches. Not available in Canada.

 

DO NOT REMOVE THE BUBBLE CAPSULE

The Toric Bubble Marker is intended for use in the doctor’s office, pre-Op or an area where sterile instruments are not a requirement, not in the operating room. The bubble capsule can not tolerate steam sterilization due to the high temperature and pressures involved. Disinfect the Toric Bubble Marker with a lint-free surgical wipe moistened with sterile 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow to air dry.
