Instrument Care Tips
Our instruments are designed to last, but to realize peak performance it is important to follow the most current guidelines for cleaning and sterilization.
Bausch + Lomb is pleased to provide cleaning and sterilization instructions for our surgical instruments marketed under the Storz Ophthalmic Instrument and Bausch + Lomb Instrument brands. These instructions can be downloaded and printed using the "View Sterilization Details" link under each instrument listing.
Take the CE Course “Effective Management of Surgical Instruments” to learn the steps necessary to properly maintain surgical instrumentation including cleaning, lubrication, sterilization preparation, sterile processing, and storage. In addition, you will complete the program with knowledge of several problem solving techniques as well as special handling requirements.
